In 2008, ProGreenSports conducted the first-ever survey of green practices of 79 Professional teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB. The survey results were widely distributed among professional teams and leagues. In 2009, we conducted the second annual ProGreenSports Sustainability Survey of professional sports teams.
In 2008, ProGreenSports also conducted a comprehensive Sports Fan Survey to understand fan perspectives on green programs of professional sports teams. The results reveal a compelling business opportunity.
ProGreenSports conducted the first-ever survey of sustainability practices among NCAA athletic departments: 97 out of 119 FBS Division schools participated. The 2009 NCAA Survey Results have been published by the Association for Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) and reviewed by the NCAA Green Team.
