Mark McSherry has conducted industry-first research on the sustainability practices of professional sports teams and NCAA athletic departments. Mark has worked with the Philadelphia Phillies and other sports organizations to improve the profitability of their green programs
Mark has extensive “green” business experience. For eight years, Mark was the President of Onset Computer Corporation, a green technology company that designs and manufactures environmental and energy monitoring data loggers, with an industry leading brand and $15M in annual sales revenue. Mark has worked as the director of Business Development for BuildingGreen, Inc., a leader on providing sustainability information to commercial architects and builders. Mark has also consulted with John Todd Ecological Design – an innovative natural wastewater treatment company
Mark graduated from Bates College and received his Masters Certificate in Sustainabile Design from the Boston College of Architecture in 2008 with a focus on the business and marketing aspects of sustainability. Mark is continuing his post-graduate education in Environmental Sciences at Harvard University.
