The Philadelphia Phillies have one of the most progressive sustainability programs in all of professional sports, the “Red Goes Green” program.  Notably, in 2008, the Phillies were the first professional sports organization to offset the annual electricity consumption of their playing facilities through the purchase of  green energy credits.  For this reason, the Phillie’s Citizen’s Bank park is arguably the “greenest” sports facility in the world.

We have worked closely with the Philadelphia Phillies to review their green business strategy.  Our project included the creation of a survey to assess the green preferences and attitudes of Phillies fans and to further develop the business justification for the “Red Goes Green” program.
